Located in an established neighborhood in Akron, Ohio this new ‘old’ home uses classic detailing and timeless materials to blend into the historic fabric of the neighborhood. The playful mix of Tudor and Shingle Style elements brings a character to this home that fits the site and grounds the house in the landscape. Careful attention was paid to the connection between interior and exterior spaces with a focus on directing views to the adjacent golf course and bringing light into the major interior spaces.
